Statement by French Language Services Commissioner Kelly Burke re L’Université de l’Ontario français

(TORONTO - January 23, 2020) Ontario French Language Services Commissioner Kelly Burke today made the following statement regarding news that the federal and Ontario governments have agreed to jointly fund a new French-language university in Ontario (L’Université de l’Ontario français):

“Yesterday’s historic agreement between the federal and provincial governments to fund l’Université de l’Ontario français will enhance the availability of post-secondary programs in French. This is great news for the francophone community!”
