Private career colleges: Too Cool for School

Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities

The Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities added enforcement staff and began laying charges under the Private Career Colleges Act after the Ombudsman found that the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities failed to protect students from an unscrupulous, illegal college.

Investigation launched January 8, 2009. Report released July 14, 2009.
