The Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Aid Ontario took action to recover assets and agreed to strengthen the oversight of public funds spent in criminal trials after $1.2-million was spent to defend Richard Wills.

Investigation launched November 6, 2007. Report released February 26, 2008.
